Why Donald Trump should be our next president

Why should the American people elect a multi-billionaire without any political experience to be our next president. By any measuring stick formally used Donald Trump would never have gotten out of the gate.

But, this is not the “measuring stick” of the past, its a new one, a little of John McCain 'straight talk', a lot of 'solution oriented' stump speeches and an abundance
of bravado, bombast and politically incorrect rhetoric!

But, this still does not answer why should we vote for Donald Trump. There is a two-part answer, the following is the first part and can be summed up in a word, “solutions”.

Donald Trump is offering solutions to problems politicians have either kicked into the future for a new crop politicians to fix, or threw money at them to pacify the public.

I can begin with many issues but will start with one we would normally not
connect with Donald Trump, education. Trump was fortunate to go to the
best schools, as were his children, and now his grand children. So, you
would not think he would be critical of Common Core, now adopted and
being implemented in forty-five states. But he is!

Common Core has been the 'instrument' the education industry promoted by
corporate interests wrapped in the appealing paper of 'globalism'. Trump
knows it, understands this is not the best education standard for our
children. His position is supported by millions of parents and even
teachers even as teacher unions support it.

Additionally, Trump keep promoting school choice, charter schools, and merit-pay for teachers, no longer discriminate as Hillary Clinton does against African-American students by opposing school choice because she is owned and paid for by the education bureaucracy.

The remainder of the issues we are well aware of, security, safety, jobs, regulations, trade, crime, etc.

The second 'surprise' was seeing Trump tread where no former Republican dared, into the problems in Black communities!

Although Trump understands that traditional Republican voters and independents are needed to win the presidency, he also knows people who may never even vote for him are deserving of a voice when a Republican nominee is campaigning. Trump decided to not only be that voice, but be a megaphone!

Trump addressed crime head on, taking no prisoners in his indictment of current efforts to reduce crime. He reminds us what the media tiptoes around, offering the hard numbers hidden by the "soft bigotry" of the ruling class which governs every major city in distress.

We can begin with the fact that violent crime is rising across the country. More than 2,700 have been shot in Chicago alone this year, a level of crime that no American should consider acceptable.

He goes on to cite statistics Democrats will never say out of shame and Republicans are uncomfortable even mentioning.

Some of facts rarely brought to the public's attention, beginning with the devastating economic conditions in the African-American communities.

Overall labor force participation rate for black Americans slipped from 63.2%
to 60 %, down 3.2 %., for Black teenagers, from 29.6 % to 23.2 %, down
6.4%.

The percentage of Black Americans in poverty has grown under Obama, the
Census Bureau reports, from 25.8 % in 2009 to 26.2 % in 2014 — up 1.6 %.
The number of blacks on Food Stamps soared under Obama, from 7.4 million
in 2009 to 11.7 million in 2014 — up 58.2 %!.

Since President Obama was inaugurated percentage of black Americans who
own homes plunged from 46.1 to 41.7 %. Nearly 4 in 10 African American
children live in poverty. 58 % of young African Americans are not employed.

Homicide is up nearly 50 % in Washington D.C. and up more than 60 % in
Baltimore. Violent crime rose 17 % in the fifty largest US cities.

Trump says all this to set the stage for his bold initiative to reduce crime
across America. He pledges to restore law and order, supporting law enforcement.

He pledges to work with them and community leaders so every citizen in the
land to restore safety to crime ridden communities. He will appoint an
Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security completely committed
to upholding the law and appoint federal officials and investigators who
will work hand-in-hand with police and citizens to dismantle gangs, cartels
and criminal syndicates terrorizing our people, and appoint prosecutors who
will go into the most dangerous communities in America.

This is his commitment, to work to liberate citizens from violence and fear,
saying all citizens deserve to be protected. No American left behind.

He pledges that every African-American parent in this country, and all parents
in this country should be able to raise their kids in safety. Trump wants to
ensure every African-American child in this country, and all children in this
country, are put on the American ladder of success: a good education, and a
good-paying job.

Such a bold campaign pledge was not expected from a candidate who gained
attention on the issues or immigration, trade and security. This should
tell everyone Trump appreciates the problems all Americans face, especially
those 'forgotten' by both political parties, one by design, the other by
indifference!

Trump pledged to cut tax rates, reducing the number of rates from seven to
three while Hillary Clinton will add one, naturally a higher one.

As he pledged, he would repeal and replace Obamacare with one that allows
portability without the govt. imposed boundaries.

He is the only candidate who even announced nearly a dozen jurists he would
consider for the Supreme Court, an opening for his critics, he did without
fear.

One of the first issues he campaigned on was fixing the Veterans
Administration, and introduced a ten-point plan to the VFW which
was pleased when hearing details.

He also addresses job-killing regulation which he knows more about than
most politicians or the bureaucrats who write them which will unleash
an American Energy Revolution.

This is what can be gained with a Trump presidency:

More jobs, higher wages, and a massive reduction in the terrible crime
plaguing our inner cities.

Trump continue to remind the electorate the importance of border security,
restates the plan build a wall and even close the tunnels used for drug
trafficking.

Trump reminds of the sobering statistics from Texas, nearly two hundred
thousand illegal immigrants were booked into Texas jails between 2011 and
2016. Collectively, those arrested were responsible for more than half a
million criminal offenses, including 1,055 homicides, 5,516 sexual assault
charges and more than 50,000 charges of either burglary or theft.

These are statistics, like the horrid ones in urban crime centers, Hillary
Clinton  will not talk about, and for good reason.

Trump pledges to end the folly of Sanctuary Cities.

As for the refugees from the Middle East, they will remain in the Middle
East. Visas will be suspended until effective screening can be assured.

This is the promise of a business man's presidency with a common sense
approach, putting the American people first.
