Can a billionaire lead them to the Promise Land!

Donald Trump traveled a long distance in only fourteen months, much
further than anyone other than his own family could have envisioned.

Trump spoke to an audience of constituents no one could have imagined
when he declared he was running for the Republican nomination. An
audience no other Republican would have dared to address, Black
Americans, who vote 90% of the time for Democrats.

Politicians are very pragmatic, they invest their time and campaign
spending on constituencies which provide them the greatest benefit.
This is hardly what any American or group of constituents want to hear.

One citizen, one vote should be the bedrock of our elections, not calculating
which voters to cozy up to at the expense of others who are ignored.

You will not see Hillary go to Alabama or Mississippi, but you will see Trump
go to Washington state and today, Detroit! He is telling every American he is
the only person who sees them as individuals not members of a group.

Trump addressed a Black audience, "asking for their vote"; that was his
simple request. He did this without mentioning what they already knew,
the statistics which have destroyed the advances made in the last fifty years.

Everyone in the room knew the "numbers", they live them every day,
reminded of them with each gun shot, each drug overdose, and sound of
a police siren. There is no need to cite them again.

Trump was respectful, he told them all Americans must have the same
opportunities no matter where they live, in a wealthy NJ suburb or the
most dangerous parts of Chicago.

Trump never mentioned the president or Hillary either. This was not a day
to draw a comparison to failures of the past. It was moment to offer hope
for the future.

Trump promised them he will make their lives better and safer. He'll make
good on the failed promises of the same politicians people reelect again
and again.

Trump offers them hope, especially to the conservative Black ministers
whose pleads have been ignored by elected Black leadership that take
their 'marching orders' from the Democrat Party, not their constituencies.

Trump promises to change all that, something no other candidate has
invested so much time campaigning on.
