When you have no shame why ever apologize!

With all the chatter after Hillary Clinton's "basket of deplorables"
remarks to describe "50% of Donald Trump's supporters", there has
been little mention of what prominent Democrats said, all aligned
themselves with her.

Whether they are elected officials, political consultants, or party
leaders they stuck with the message, Trump's supporters are bigots!

This should be no surprise, Democrats rarely apologize. The closest
you might hear, "I was taken out of context" or "I misspoke" or as
in President Obama's case only apologize for our country's actions!

What these prejudiced Democrats refuse to understand is a political
strategy that denigrates the electorate is rarely successful.

The American people are proud of what they believe and the candidates
they support. They need to be viewed as customers. Politicians must
earn their vote. Insulting them never works.

Consider Donald Trump' approach to the electorate, especially Black
voters who overwhelming vote for Democrats. Trump did not denigrate
them, he reached out to them, campaigning to earn their vote!

And even with this outreach Democrats attacked Trump for "daring"
to get their support! In a way this insults Black communities.

Also, the Bernie Sanders' supporters. Trump didn't criticize them for
wanting "free stuff" as Romney implied in his 47% comment four years
ago. Trump urged them to vote for him to eliminate the "rigged system"
which has driven up the cost of education.

For a non politician Trump's approach to the electorate at large is
exactly what voters want, treated with respect, never demeaned as
"deplorables" as Hillary chose to do, which she has done on earlier
occasions.

In less than two months we'll know whether denigrating the electorate
works to the Democrats advantage.

I believe the American people think more of themselves than Democrats do!
