....the person I hope will become our next president!
It wasn't easy going through a field of so many accomplished
individuals without using a "litmus test" to narrow it down.
I decided to eliminate all the candidates I believed would
not be the "game changer" our country needs. Most I felt
would continue doing the "business" of Washington the
same as it is done today.
With four remaining, only two qualify as game changers our
nation needs. And, both men have more in common then
has been reported.
They see border security as a high priority, recognize
we cannot enter trade deals that hurt American workers, or
support terrorist states while maintaining a strong relationship
with our only reliable ally in the Middle East, Israel.
They also agree some Federal agencies need to be closed and
states regain control of such responsibilities.
Both men want to end Common Core, desire local control of
education and replace the IRS with a superior means of
generating revenue.
But, the difference is stark. One is a highly educated politician
who can hold his own on any issue, faithful to the Constitution,
perhaps to a fault. His word is his bond. He will ruffle political
feathers when asked to put aside his principles.
The other is the remaining non-politician still in the race. He
entered with more bombast than any politician would. He IS the
bull in the China shop that threatens the comity of Washington.
He draws the largest crowds, feeding on their anger and frustration.
Official Washington does not want him sitting in the Oval Office,
so much so the political elite and power brokers are working covertly
strategizing "how can he be defeated".
These are the reasons they both meet my litmus test, they're "game changers"!
As I can only choose one, my choice is the man who will go into
the "China shop" that is Washington but will not break anything
of value. Butm he will destroy the cabal he often reminds us
exists and governs behind the scenes no matter who we elect.
He will make sure the Constitution is seen as more than a "piece
of paper" as President Obama recently described it!
As I said, my vote has been cast, and it was for Ted Cruz!
