The "T" leaves the establishment refuses to read!

Critics abound when the subject of Donald Trump's chances of winning the
presidency comes up in polite and at times, not polite conversation, most
often by people invested the election results.

Yet, less than a year after he announced his run for the presidency, and with
enemies coming from the Left and the Right, Trump is the last man standing!

The only remaining task is to take away the crown from the 'lady in waiting'.

But who are these critics and how much 'clout' do they have?

They are the faceless members of the establishment whose names we would
not recognize that pull the strings attached to their surrogates, politicians and
media who follow detailed scripts to weaken Trump's appeal.

They continue to offer the false narrative that Trump is doomed and will be
easily defeated. They cite poll and poll to support their claims. But polls can
be fleeting at best, and differ depending on how questions are "massaged"
to narrow the variance.

And, although critics have accepted the popularity of Donald Trump who is
drawing the largest crowds they conclude he will not be our next president.

But, hard numbers have more weight and need to be factored into predictions
even when they displease the prognosticators.

The tea leaves being read don't seem to factor in a new " T leaf" which could
be an indicator of what is to come, a new day in American politics!

The "leaf" that needs to be looked at is "T", and stands for "Twitter", the social
media quick and easy way to get your message out.

Conservative groups attempting to bring down Trump include:

Red State...........      172,000 followers   National Review.......173,000 followers
Karl Rove..............   648,000 followers  Erick Erickson.......   156,000 followers
George Will...........     47,000 followers

Trump primary opponents:
Ted Cruz...........     1,000,000 followers Jeb Bush...........        600,000 followers
Marco Rubio......... 1,300,000 followers

Leftest groups:
Media Matters.........   210,000 followers Huffington Post.......... 585,000 followers

Political parties:
Republicans.............  680,000 followers Democrats.............    500,000 followers

Remaining challengers:
Bernie Sanders......   2,000,000 followers Hillary Clinton........  6,100,000 followers

These numbers represent the folks interested in these groups and  individuals.

As expected Hillary Clinton is at the top considering her long tenure in public life,

But the political neophyte, Donald Trump has done something only celebrity entertainers
have achieved. His Twitter follower exceed 8,000,000!

There is one thing the eight million figure dispels, the myth only older or less educated
White men support Trump. Surely among this number some amount of women must be
represented!

So far, there is little discussion of Twitter, Facebook or other social media in the campaign,
which is surprising because President Obama optimized its value when he won.

We'll know soon enough if this number is meaningful and the talking heads are just that,
all talk!
