When the battle against the Affordable Care Act was fought it was a battle
between Democrats, organized labor and the Obama Administration against
Republicans and conservatives who did not believe the govt. had the right to
tell them they must buy health insurance.
Yet, neither health care or insurance industries fought against this national health
care, quite curious and suspect when so much was at stake, an unasked question
at the time.
In the seven years since its passage we have seen mixed reviews, the poorest
did get health care but the promised savings never materialized and in many
cases the cost on average have gone up.
Another result of national health care now materializing is what is happening in the
insurance industry. Many are pulling out of most states as their costs have driven
up premiums and driven down participation.
Could insurance companies have miscalculated or worse, been in collusion with
the Obama Administration to not fight the Affordable Care Act at the outset,
then abruptly pull out of most states scrambling to provide coverage.
t
are folding up their tents in most states as the cost to insure
has made doing business prohibited.
