Let me begin by saying ever since Pat McCrory
was elected whenever I attended an event held by
members of the General Assembly I urged them
not to forget the eighty counties hardest hit by the
recession and are still hurting as every small town
paper know better than most.
Most attention goes to the twenty counties surrounding
Charlotte and Raleigh.

NC has a history of being driven by policies that
benefit highly populated areas strongly influenced
by the editorial pages of our two largest newspapers.
So, it is up to the smaller communities to ensure
their voices are heard and this is where each small
town paper must lead the way.

This election is vital to our country's future. We
must decide whether we want next president to
treat our state as President Obama did or if we
will choose someone with lawful respect not

Trump has been traveling the country, including
spending more time in NC than in any other state.
