Anyone Remember HR 6061, passed in 2006?

If you aren't familiar with HR 6061 its because it hasn't been mentioned, even
though it plays an important roll in the Republican's presidential primary.

Donald Trump was made the butt of jokes when he claimed he would build
a wall along our Southern border if elected. His competitors for the GOP
nomination jumped at the chance to ridicule this "outrageous" claim, saying
it could not be done. Yet, Trump did not back away, he doubled down
claiming not only would a wall be built, but Mexico would pay for it!

Back to HR 6061, formally known as the "Secure Fence Act of 2006". This
legislation authorized the building of a 700 mile wall along the Southern
border as described on this link: http://bit.ly/1OkzhU8

None of Trump's critics mentioned this law was already in place, probably
because it would cement the notice politicians do nothing even after legislation
is passed. Nor did the media care to report HR6061 became law a decade ago.

Here are the links which describe how this legislation successfully went
through a contentious process, including the internal and external attempts
to derail it!

Trump may finish the job Congress and the Obama Administration have dithered on!
