Is Paul Ryan the Republican Party's "Hillary"?

It wasn't too long ago, in fact it was last Fall, the Republican Party
Congressional leadership approached Paul Ryan to run for Speaker
after John Boehner resigned.

At first Ryan was reluctant, playing hard to get, but in the end he agreed.

We were told his Speaker-ship would be a new beginning, a turning of
the page on cronyism and back room and insider deals.

But, the promises made were quickly forgotten as the very first thing
Ryan did was introduce a budget which should have been passed months
earlier, but deliberately held dormant until the 11th hour.

Ryan said it was "the best they could do" on such short notice, the
claim made every year Congress drags its feet on passing a budget.

Boehner may be gone, but business as usual continues "as usual". More
of the same, overspending today and only promises for tomorrow.

Now there is a new search on, for a Republican Party presidential
nominee as the party concluded of more than a dozen accomplished
candidates none are acceptable, even as the electorate strongly
supports two.

With this impasse between the "people's" choice and the leadership's
desires the call to Paul Ryan comes again.

Apparently, Ryan is the go to guy when the party is in trouble as none
of more than 300 members of Congress only Ryan is being called upon.

Paul Ryan may be the "Golden Boy" in Republican establishment circles,
but his 'press clippings' fall short when he is out of his realm, as he was
when he debated Joe Biden.

Remember, Ryan, the wisest guy when it comes to budgetary matters,
did not fare well when he debated "Old Joe". Ryan is whip smart on
the numbers, and planned to use them to bring down Obama policies.
And it appeared he had Biden on his heels.

Unfortunately for Ryan, Biden had the perfect answer to all Ryan
spouted. Joe dug into the playbook he learned from as a local pol in
Scranton and destroyed Ryan with one word, "Malarkey". That was all it
took. Ryan became speechless as Biden won the debate!

Yet, this is the man the Republican Party wants to grab the brass ring.
Is this any different than what is going on in the Democrat Party where
Hillary already has its brass ring tightly held in her hand!
