"Gotta nip it in the bud"

To borrow a term often used by Barney Fife, heralded North Carolina
lawman, "you gotta nip it in the bud", which is exactly what neither the
Charlotte City Council, General Assembly or Pat McCrory did not do!

Two years ago the Charlotte City council did refuse an "accommodation"
the accurate request by transgenders, not the "anti-discrimination" claim
the LGBT community wanted to shove down the public's throat.

But, failing once only means try, try, again, and the second time was the
charm, the ordinance passed.

While the General Assembly and governor quickly put together legislation
their haste may have been the reason they did not thoughtfully review the
issue or take into account what was at stake is more than an accommodation.

They unwittingly validated a "mental disorder" wrapped in a cloak of legitimacy
as an acceptable 'gender identity' choice.

The following should have been the view of the state of North Carolina, which
would followed Barney Fife's advise, "nip it in the bud"

The Truth of "Gender Identity"....

"Gender identity" has come into forefront in recent years, following the tried and
true pattern of repeating the same thing often enough until it hardens into 'factual'
proof rather than just one more political effort to advance a false argument to
support anything beyond the boundaries of normalcy.

Labels such as "gender identity" are a perfect fit in a world where labels are created
so "acceptable" groups gain legitimacy and why this made up name, with no clinical
foundation, was even adopted by the federal govt., as OSHA uses it in transgender
restroom requirements.

"Gender identity" is no more than a fallacious label to describe transgenders, a sub
group within the LGBT community its lobbyists now use in desperation to avoid
the hard clinical assessment that they suffer from a mental disorder, something
you'd have to search long and hard to find, as it will never be mentioned in the
discussions centering around accommodations for them.

In fact, "gender identity" believers have yet to offer any supporting evidence. What
transgenders do have is a "gender dysphoria", the diagnosis used by physicians and
psychologists that conclude it is a mental disorder requiring treatment, the findings
from Johns Hopkins, receiving little reporting, and destroys the folly of "discrimination".

The research and conclusions can be found here: http://bit.ly/1GgZiVg .

Transgenders suffering from "gender dysphoria" need treatment, not a choice of
which restroom to use.
