Meet the political "Odd Couple"

Looking from afar two individuals could not appear more different.
One is bombastic, shooting from his quick lip, while the other is
thoughtful, measuring every word.

One has a forty plus year career as a real estate developer, successful
using the system he now is railing about, while the other works in the
political arena as a US senator seeing the system is corrupt from a
closer vantage point.

Meet the political "Odd Couple", two men who in another time would
not even know each others name, let alone cross paths.

Well, this is not "another time", this is now and both men aspire to be
the next president.

They have battling for almost a year, one calls the other "Lying Ted",
while the other responds his opponent is a petulant, spoiled "child".

Can these guys ever get along? Most would say no, but such a response
does not consider what this "Odd Couple" have in common.

Both men know the system is rigged in favor of an establishment that would
prefer BOTH of them would just go away.

One says its the Washington "cartel" that governs behind closed doors, while
the other knows from experience what must be done to "work with politicians".
Are their views any different?

One says trade deals with China hurts American workers, so does the other.
One says the border must be secure, so does the other.
One says Common Core education needs to be ended, so does the other.

One believes Obamacare must be replaced, so does the other.
One believes we need to destroy ISIS, so does the other.
BOTH agree several federal agencies are unneeded!

This list can go on, but the point is made, this "Odd Couple"  are not that
"odd" after all.  They can coexist, work together to make our country what
it should be, which is better than it currently is!
